I'll tell you a story

FL Decks started in 2011 as a personal attempt to understand deck making, wood, shape, and balance.

I spent time searching for the right materials, testing glues, layers, and small variations, always driven by curiosity more than outcome.

Each board came out different.
That difference became the point.

There was never room for repetition, only for exploration.

More than glue, more than tools — it was the soul.
Like guitars: same model, same factory,
yet they never sound the same.

The same happens with fingerboards.

Over time, I felt wood wasn’t enough.
There was something deeper to follow.

Because what truly defines how a board feels
isn’t only the grain —
it’s the shape.

The way curves respond to pressure.
The way millimeters change how fingers move.

That’s where difference lives.
Like the moment a guitar shifts its voice.

So I stepped into 3D modeling to remove boundaries.

To follow shapes without a plan.
To let variations happen.
When a deck feels like nothing you’ve tried before…
you know you did it right.
