Guess who's back?
A new chapter for
FL Decks
I’ve been making decks since 2011 — always chasing the perfect shape, grain, and curve.
Wood was my language. Obsession, the method.
Then life got louder.
I stepped back, slowed things down, to choose what mattered.
I’m here again.
Shaping when it feels right.
No production, no rush.
Just the urge to shape something personal.

The Way I Did It
Didn’t buy it.
Didn’t find it.
Built it — from scratch —
outside, over the washer.
A compact bench to press decks,
one shape at a time,
in a home too small for a workshop.
Simple by necessity.
Built to explore and shape ideas,
not to scale.
Creations
Built on obsession
I’ve tested, cursed, reprinted, trimmed, and repressed the same shapes more times than I’d admit. What came out isn’t just “nice” — it’s tight.
Dialed. Functional. Balanced.
This is the heart of deck making — the way we mean it. Raw, slow, hands-on.
And yeah... I freaking love sandpaper.
